More than 25 years of hands-on science
Since 2000, Profaqua has been helping young people discover science differently. We believe the best discoveries happen when young people handle, experiment, ask questions and marvel at scientific phenomena.
Over the years, the company has grown, developed new workshops, created shows, imagined innovative projects and met thousands of young people in Quebec and British Columbia. One thing has never changed: our passion for making science interactive, dynamic and accessible to all.

Finalist at the 2026 Palme Bleue
In 2026, Profaqua was honoured to be a finalist at the Palme Bleue gala, organized by the Chambre de commerce francophone du Grand Vancouver, in the Growing Business category and for the Francophone Business of the Year award. This recognition reflects our commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship and the development of French-language educational services in British Columbia.
The people behind Profaqua
Éric Tremblay, founder
Founder of Profaqua in 2000, Éric’s mission is to help young people discover science through interactive workshops, science shows and robotics. Based in British Columbia since 2021, he travels the province every year to bring educational experiences to francophone and French Immersion schools. Over 25 years, he has developed more than 55 science workshops in biology, chemistry, physics, Earth and space, the environment and robotics. His mission has not changed: to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators… and lifelong learners.
Aqua, our mascot
Since Profaqua began in 2000, Aqua, our water drop, has been much more than a mascot: she is part of our identity and proudly features in our logo. Water is at the heart of life and of many scientific discoveries. Aqua also stands for curiosity, one of our core values: just as one drop can make waves, one simple question can spark a young person’s curiosity. And since only about 2.5% of the planet’s water is fresh water, Aqua reminds us why protecting it matters.
Éric Czerniecki, Profaqua QC inc.
Owner and director of Profaqua QC inc., Éric carries Profaqua’s mission forward with young people in Quebec. With more than 20 years of experience in facilitation, day camps and management, he met founder Éric Tremblay in 2020 and became owner of Profaqua QC inc. in 2023.
Hébé, camp coordinator
For several years, Hébé has played a key role at Profaqua QC inc. As coordinator, she helps plan, organize and coordinate the activities of the company’s summer camps, with one goal: an enriching, safe and memorable experience for every child.
