Designed for ages 3 to 5
Our workshops, designed specifically for children aged 3 to 5, let them explore science and robotics through play, experimentation and activities suited to their development.
With an energetic facilitator, children handle real science materials, carry out their first experiments, discover educational robotics and build their creativity, fine motor skills and sense of observation. All our activities are turnkey and fit easily into your program.

Extra fees, GST and PST
- Travel: $0.90 per kilometre, round trip, between our office and your location, with a $25 minimum per trip.
- Remote regions: preferential travel rates may apply. Ask us for details.
- Perishable supplies: a few workshops carry a supplies fee, stated in the workshop description.
- Waiting time: a $60 fee applies when more than 90 minutes separate two workshops.
- Taxes: GST and PST are added to the amounts shown.

J'ai assisté à une démonstration sur la chimie et ce fut excellent, j accompagnais un groupe de jeunes et ils ont gardé leur concentration tout le long. Ils ont adoré et ce fut instructif, Éric en plus d'être drôle , connaît très bien sa ma matière .

Are the activities really designed for ages 3 to 5?
Yes. These workshops let young children explore science and robotics through play and experimentation suited to their development: they handle real materials, carry out their first experiments and build their creativity, fine motor skills and sense of observation.
How much does a daycare workshop cost?
From $262 for a 60-minute workshop, with a minimum of one group per day. A robotics project costs from $400 for 2 visits, $550 for 3 visits and $750 for 4 visits of 60 minutes. Travel is billed at $0.90 per kilometre, round trip, between our office and your location, with a $25 minimum. A few workshops carry a perishable supplies fee, stated in their description. GST and PST are added to the amounts.
Which robots do the little ones use?
Floor robots made for young children: KUBO®, Bee-Bot®, Blue-Bot® and Botley. Children build their first sequences with buttons or tiles, without a screen, and watch the robot follow their instructions.
Can our daycare hatch ducklings or chicks?
Yes. The ducklings and chicks projects run from January to the end of April, over two weeks. Profaqua delivers 6 fertilized eggs, an incubator, an automated brooder, food and bedding, trains your team to care for the eggs and the babies, then takes the birds back to the farm.
Which subjects do the workshops for young children cover?
The five senses, the five senses and the sea, dinosaurs, the animal kingdom and animal homes, insects, magnetism, dry ice and chemical reactions, plus the first robotics with floor robots and the ducklings and chicks projects, from January to the end of April.
Is the activity entirely in French?
Yes. Every Profaqua activity is led in French. For French Immersion and Core French classes, the facilitator adapts the pace and vocabulary and relies on demonstration.
Do you come to our daycare?
Yes. Our facilitator comes to your daycare with the materials. Travel is billed at $0.90 per kilometre, round trip, from our office in New Westminster, with a $25 minimum.
Do we need materials or robots?
No. All our activities are turnkey: the facilitator brings the materials, and the activity fits easily into your program.
