Extra fees, GST and PST
- Travel: $0.90 per kilometre, round trip, between our office and your location, with a $25 minimum per trip.
- Remote regions: preferential travel rates may apply. Ask us for details.
- Perishable supplies: a few workshops carry a supplies fee, stated in the workshop description.
- Waiting time: a $60 fee applies when more than 90 minutes separate two workshops.
- Taxes: GST and PST are added to the amounts shown.

J'ai assisté à une démonstration sur la chimie et ce fut excellent, j accompagnais un groupe de jeunes et ils ont gardé leur concentration tout le long. Ils ont adoré et ce fut instructif, Éric en plus d'être drôle , connaît très bien sa ma matière .

What can Profaqua offer the children at a wedding?
A 60-minute workshop, a 60-minute magic and science show or a 60-minute science show, or a combination of them. The activities are adapted to the children’s age, and we adapt to your schedule, your reception venue and your needs.
How much does a science activity at a wedding cost?
From $300 for a 60-minute workshop, $800 for a magic and science show and $1,000 for a science show. Travel is billed at $0.90 per kilometre, round trip, between our office and your location, with a $25 minimum. A few workshops carry a perishable supplies fee, stated in their description. GST and PST are added to the amounts.
Can the show take place outdoors?
Yes. The shows can be held indoors or outdoors, with no minimum or maximum number of children. We need a clear space, 15-amp outlets and, indoors, access to the light switches; the science show also needs a sink nearby.
Which ages are the activities for?
Our workshops and shows are adapted to the children’s age. The magic and science show is for kindergarten to grade 6, and the science shows suit every age, from kindergarten to grade 12.
Can the activity take place during the reception?
Yes, that is the idea: while the couple, the families and the guests enjoy the evening, the children experiment, play and laugh with our facilitator, safely, for a few hours if you wish.
