Because curiosity never takes a day off. Our after-school clubs let children keep exploring science and robotics in a fun, stimulating environment, entirely in French.

A new science adventure every week

For 60 minutes, participants experiment, build, program and take on science challenges suited to their age. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, build creativity and make them want to go further.

As in every Profaqua workshop, several children become the day’s science assistants, proudly wearing their lab coats and joining the demonstrations in front of the group. Whether they explore the mysteries of chemistry, build a robot, solve an engineering challenge or discover the living world, each session is a new adventure.

  • Science: groups of 18 to 25 children

After-school pricing

The rate depends on the number of sessions booked.

After-school science or robotics

  • 6 weeksfrom $72 per child From$1,800
  • 8 weeksfrom $96 per child From$2,400
  • 10 weeksfrom $120 per child From$3,000
  • 12 weeksfrom $140 per child From$3,500
Extra fees, GST and PST
  • Travel: $0.90 per kilometre, round trip, between our office and your location, with a $25 minimum per trip.
  • Remote regions: preferential travel rates may apply. Ask us for details.
  • Perishable supplies: a few workshops carry a supplies fee, stated in the workshop description.
  • Waiting time: a $60 fee applies when more than 90 minutes separate two workshops.
  • Taxes: GST and PST are added to the amounts shown.

What we need on site

  • Access to electrical outlets

  • A clear space for the end-of-session robotics demonstrations

  • Une équipe dynamite! Ce sont des fous de la science. Mes enfants se rappellent encore des ateliers donnés dans leur classe au primaire. Can the club be about science or about robotics?

Both. A science club runs with groups of 18 to 25 children; a robotics club with groups of 14 to 20, and Profaqua supplies the iPads, robots, activity mats and Apple TV. Each weekly session lasts 60 minutes.

How much does an after-school club cost?

The rate depends on the number of sessions booked: from $1,800 for 6 weeks, $2,400 for 8 weeks, $3,000 for 10 weeks and $3,500 for 12 weeks, which is from $72 to $140 per child. Travel and taxes are extra.
