How a science tour works

During a tour, our facilitators spend a few weeks in one region and visit its schools. For 2026-2027, Profaqua has planned seven science workshop tours: two on Vancouver Island, then Northwest BC, the Sunshine Coast, the Okanagan, Southeast BC and the Sea to Sky region.

Workshop tours bring the catalogue’s science workshops of 60, 75 or 90 minutes. Some years, Profaqua also runs science show tours, as on Vancouver Island and in Southeast BC in June 2025 and June 2026.

Profaqua travels across British Columbia and to other provinces: the team also ran workshop tours in Montreal in May 2023 and from May to June 2024.
