The Moon is a 60-minute workshop for grades 1 and 4. Students travel to the Moon: they describe the theories of how it formed, illustrate the distance between the Earth and the Moon and its phases, relive the Apollo 11 mission and make their own craters.
Have you ever dreamed of walking on the Moon? We’ll take you there!
Your astronauts for a day travel to our favourite satellite through a series of experiments!
From the phases of the Moon to the Apollo 11 mission, by way of how it formed and how long it takes to rotate and orbit, the Moon will have no dark side left for your scientists!
We even make our own craters in lunar soil!
