How about a nature outing to learn the legend of the Thunderbird? The Thunderbird plays different roles in different Indigenous traditions of the Northwest Coast.
Follow our experienced naturalist into natural areas near your school. With binoculars and observation sheets, our apprentice ornithologists learn to identify the British Columbia bird species presented in class during the first workshop.
No one will be left standing around!
NOTE: Binoculars and observation sheets are provided for students.
